Updates and fun stuff

Hi. Sorry it's been a while. Life keeps happening, you all know what that's like I'm sure.
A little update. We had friends visit from Norway for 10 days. That was sooooo much fun! I love having people visit. We showed them around, went to Antelope Island which is a really nice State Park. We got to see several herds of buffaloes, antelopes and a billion small knats!! At least. I'm glad we were in the car at that point :) We had a really nice day, got to see the nice views and everything. Also took them downtown Salt Lake City to see the State Capitol building, it looks like a smaller version of the Capitol Building in Washington DC. It is really beautiful! We also stopped by Temple Square to learn more about the Mormons and to see the buildings there, and the nice view from the office building.
It was nice to spend time with some friends, get some great laughs and just hang out again.
Oh, and one more fun thing we got to do that week! We had a doctors appointment, and during the ultrasound we got to find out that we will be having a baby GIRL!! That was a lot of fun! "Daddy" was right, he has said the whole time we're having a girl, me and almost everyone else thought it was a boy :) But we are all soooo exited to welcome a baby girl in February . The ultrasound was amazing, we got to see our girl move around, kick me, and we even saw her face, and she opened her mouth as we were watching. We came home with 3 nice pictures of our daughter.
So of course we went shopping. Didn't get much, but had to get something a little girly :) I'll post the pictures of all the things we have so far :) I'm just too excited and a proud mommy :)

And yes, I did put a teddy bear in it :P hehe

And we got a nice brown and grey ring sling: (DeeLee Slings) 

That's about it for  now... There will be lots and lots more to come :) Oh, and I have been knitting a little, and Michael is currently sewing something next to me :)
