So, let me see, what has happened the last few weeks. My belly has grown :) Finally, I actually look pregnant now, that's nice. The baby is kicking and moving around a lot, I can now feel when she has hick-ups and she's been playing and pulling on the umbilical cord too. I like it, it's nice to feel her in there, making sure we know she's there :)
We got a surprise package in the mail the other day. One of my good friends sent us a gift for baby, an "infant to toddler rocker" chair! It's awesome, and I love that our baby will be able to use it until she is 2-3 years old, at least! :) I had to put it together right away :)
I've also been a little crafty of my own lately. I tried something new, and managed to make/knit a baby hat with two colors and a small design! And it turned out really nice, I like it a lot, very cute :)
Yesterday I sat down and made a warm bag to use in the stroller when it's cold outside. All I need now is some buttons for it. I made it in fleece and I will leave it with an opening so I can choose to fill it with more blankets when it's colder, and take them out when it's a little warmer outside! I like it, it's really nice :)
It's fun to make stuff. And especially fun to make things I know our baby will get to use and enjoy :)
Here's some pictures of the things mentioned above:
My belly at 24 weeks pregnant.
The awesome chair for baby :)
The cute hat I made, "Strawberry hat".
I made another one, bigger size and a darker blue color.
The bag I made, open.
The bag when it's closed up. Only thing missing is the buttons :)
Ash, who is 2 next Wednesday has LOVED his rocker since he was about 6 months on (I wore him all the time before 6 months, otherwise he probably would have loved it earlier, too!) He and his other little 2 year old buddies fight over it all the time on playdays-- so it's a big hit!
